For more than 25 years, I’ve helped business leaders, consultants, and authors use writing to launch their ideas into the world.

My work reflects my experience in organizational change, leadership, workplace culture, and behaviour science.

For more than 10 years, I ran an organizational change consulting firm with clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies. I’ve sold and delivered enterprise programs, as well as provided consulting strategy services with small and medium-sized consulting firms in Canada, U.S., U.K., and Australia.

I’m not delivering leadership and change programs today, but I still live and breathe the space. I get excited to talk to founders and authors like you (maybe living your work vicariously just a bit) because the changes you are helping create will be vital to the next decades of work.

In the rest of my life, I’m a mom to two teenage boys and a three-time cancer survivor. I’ve had to work through seasons of uncertainty, burnout, self-doubt, and chronic pain to become more resilient. If you can relate to any of that, we’ll have no shortage of things to discuss.

Becoming a business owner can be a path to better work-life balance—yes, it’s a lot of work but it gives many of us freedom from the constraints and pressures of corporate life. Enough of the “thought boi” marketing—it’s time for people with actual experience to shine.

We’ve all seen the “experts” on Twitter or LinkedIn with an hour of experience talking about their ideas and solutions, yet people with decades of experience hesitate to show their work.

I work primarily in B2B marketing, working with consultants, founders, and authors who are changing the future of work. They are creating exciting new solutions that make work better for thousands of people around the world; some are helping other self-employed entrepreneurs build their businesses.

Those are the ideas that need to be heard and shared, not speculation from people who don’t have the experience you have.

Finally, I’m able to put my book obsession to good use.

I’m no longer a change consultant, but I continue to read extensively about leadership, change, and the future of work. (And get worked up about the continued focus on all-white-male book awards and “best of” lists, something I’m determined to help change.)

My writing reflects the latest thinking and research, and includes a diverse mix of sources and experts. It’s one of the best ways to build authority and gravitas in your work, so staying current and well-researched is critical to my work. (And keeps my inner book nerd happy.)

Don’t worry, I’ve done my homework.

I have a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations (MIR), plus I’m a certified coach through LCI and I’ve completed the Growclass growth marketing program.

I’m also committed to continuing to build my skills in writing, editing, and content marketing, with regular participation in conferences like the Women in Publishing Summit, and completing the Write Like Anyone training from Brand Voice Academy.
